FANTASTIC Just Go!!! Their falafel is out of this world. Small independent family owned well priced neighborhood local spot. Yum yum

I really love this place. My wife wanted to try one in lil Italy. But I had been before. And I had to return for more. Fresh sourdough soft and manageable. Meats piled on very tasty 👌🏿

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this classic SF establishment. The sign outside says since 1926. The prices and quality as well as overall ambience make this place a true gem. The owner is also very nice and hardworking.

Good stuff going on in this little spot. They got themed sandwiches named after local stuff. I had a meatball sandwich, don't remember the name, and it was delicious. The bread was tasty and toasted. The meatballs and sauce were delicious. All in all, great spot for lunch and with the service to match the food.

Looking forward to a return visit. The prices are fair for the quality of food. I see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

Definitely the best. Use to go frequently when living in the neighborhood.

From an internet search, ended up stopping by to grab a dinner-sandwich on my way to Bicentennial Campground in Marin. Got the Italian combo and it was done well. Stocked up on a few other items as well. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Would def recommend this spot.

Quickly ordered their sandwich on the way to Pier 39. But I have one thing to highlight. The lady who served me uses her gloves to handle my cash payment! Oh dear! I didn't know if she also did that using the same gloves to make a sandwich 🙁

Very good food. Was a Little discouraged when maps said 1 mile walk but was totally worth it. I'd give it more stars if I could. Also it serves sourdough which has been said to be a must eat for tourists.

Been going here for about 20 years. When the wife and I want a fresh healthy lunch we go here. My fave: peppered turkey with pepper jack cheese on rye. Bread selection is awesome. Dutch crunch gets ordered alot. Great selection of chips and drinks. Next to school so time it right. Even without kids ittakes some time so have some patience...all good things take time. One of my top 3 sandwich places if not the winner. Getting hungry just writing this....

Great food at a reasonable price. The sandwich I ordered was first class. The establishment was no-frills; straight-forward and down to Earth. I wish I had time in San Francisco to try more of the sides.

The best tasting sandwiches in San Francisco! We were walking by to the Pier 39 and there is this really great sandwich shop. Ordered fantastic sandwiches for us and our kids. Extreme good quality of bread and everything else. And the price is right!

This place is absolutely one of my favorites. Prices were good for how much you get. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

Small shoe box size place hidden out of main street North Beach. This little shop look small, but packs enough to fulfill your needs. Service is fast and in ATM is available. Theres no seating just a couple of table on sidewalk. Parking is residential around neighborhood.

Safe haven of delicious sandwiches and coffee during the quarantine. The staff are all very nice and the manager is so friendly and kind. Get the number 1 on soft sourdough and you'll have sustenance for days.

This place is definitely an San Francisco staple. It seems like nothing has changed since back then. There's a lot of history here. After years of idly sitting in my bookmarks my wife and I finally decided it was time to experience Langer's. We ordered the famous pastrami sandwich on rye. Boy oh boy. It definitely hit the spot. I'm not much of a mustard person, but mustard was my main choice of condiment. We shared one sandwich and it was enough to get both of us full. We also ordered a side of chili cheese tater tots. Yum yum yum! It paired really well with the pastrami. Overall, a great experience with the most friendly staff. We will be back!

Although take out only during this S.I.P., Freddie's still makes a fantastic sandwich. I had a heated Pastrami (size small), with Swiss, no onion, on a soft wheat roll. Fantastic combination of flavors (warmed up seals the deal), lean Pastrami, and cut in half, individually wrapped halves - nice touch. I sat on the tailgate of my truck parked across the street from Freddie's at the playground, on a beautiful 72° blue sky SF afternoon, and ate a wonderful sandwich - made a great day.

Best sandwiches ever. But if you are going around lunch, it's better to order online on GrubHub or the wait will be too long

Honestly the best Sandwich I have ever had. Cheap prices and plenty of variety. The amazing quality of the food was well worth the wait from their slightly slow service.

Open early 0730. Great sandwiches and prices. We had a half loaf club. It fed 3. Sub and 2 small bags of chips under $20. Short walk from Alcatraz landing area. I'd repeat the decision any day.

To go place for lunch till 3PM on weekdays. Gets crowded when the school kids are out in the afternoon. But online ordering saves time, if you are in a hurry. Saviour for a burning stomach for late lunches. Guaranteed taste!

I had a large club sandwich. They are ver generous with the meat. It taste amazing cannot go wrong with food from here.
